Me encantó ..
This was overall a very fun course to play. You can't really beat the scenery when you're playing on an ocean side course like this one. I will say, like many other reviews. I felt that it was a little overpriced considering the conditions there. The grass that they use is actually pretty cool. But it would be nice if there was more of it, definitely playing in a lot of sand unless you're able to pinpoint the exact spot you want your ball go every time. All in all, I'll play again here. Went twice in the week I was in San Felipe!
Nice cource layout 👌 but would NOT pay more than 20$ with cart to play at again..! Driving range balls will damage your clubs. so bring your rusty clubs. locals also bring a pice of turf to throw down if ball don't land on a Grass patch. Best of luck at this so called champion course. its a joke for what they are charging 50+$ P.S Golf Carts sound like you are in war in Iraq...!
I played the course 12/23/2024. I did not use the driving range. The layout of the course is actually very nice. The greens were in pretty good condition. The fairways were mostly nice but some holes had damaged areas. The views in certain holes are either the beautiful mountains, the awesome sea of Cortez and or unfinished construction. Any golfer who plays this course with the attitude of being in Baja by the Sea of Cortez would appreciate the potential of the course and the baja experience and have fun. Do not play with the expectation of scoring your best. Do not focus on the bad but rather where you are playing, having fun, smoking a cigar and cervezas. Would I take a trip specifically to play the course? Probably not. But if I am heading to San Felipe for a few days YES 100% I would play again. You can walk the course for $45 I believe but riding will be more enjoyable. When you get a bad lie move the ball! if you land on the desert, bring the ball back in play. Have fun is Baja. 3 starts because for that area is more than fair.
First time playing here and everything seemed fine as we pulled up. No issues checking in and paying for my wife’s spectator fee. Ran into an older guy that worked there and he was amazed that I didn’t have an accent being that I’m Asian. Come to find out he was the course Marshall. He was nice enough to point me in the direction of the first holes but then became really annoying when he came by to check on me. Told us that we were playing too slow yet every time I was waiting on someone in front of me but he didn’t tell them anything. The course was looking a bit yellow but was fine. I wouldn’t recommend coming. It was my first time here and the whole nine holes I felt rushed playing. My wife had to tell them that we had no issues with letting anyone play through but no one had said anything to us. She told him the best thing for him to do was to leave us alone.
I play golf here every week and love it!!
